Sonia Noel is a Guyanese fashion designer, visionary entrepreneur, and empowerment leader with over 30 years of excellence in the fashion industry. Headquartered in Guyana, Sonia Noel Inc. designs statement accessories rooted in a global creative legacy.
A John Maxwell–trained coach, Amazon best-selling author of 12 books, and international speaker, Sonia is the founder of Guyana Fashion Week, the Sonia Noel Foundation, the Women in Business Expo, and several other socio-cultural platforms shaping culture, confidence, and purpose across Guyana and the Caribbean.
She was the first Caribbean designer invited to speak at Brown University and on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., during Caribbean Heritage Month. Her travels have taken her to India, China, and London — representing Guyana and the Caribbean on the world stage. Her designs have appeared on global runways from the Caribbean to Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and have graced red carpets including the Grammy and Emmy Awards.

Founded in 2012, the Sonia Noel Foundation for Creative Arts (SNFCA) creates access for talented individuals in Guyana and across the wider Caribbean, nurturing performing arts, visual arts, fashion arts, and culinary talent.
The Foundation is known for its Style Mission fundraiser fashion shows, which have supported causes including sickle cell awareness, breast cancer awareness, and domestic violence support, alongside its Bread Basket initiative, distributing free bread and meals to the underprivileged and homeless, and community programs like its December 2025 senior citizens' retreat near Parika.
In recognition of her philanthropic work, Sonia received the Outstanding Humanitarian Award at the 69th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69).
